Special School for children having mental retardation & associated disabilities: -
We are an accredited institution under National Institution of Open Schooling (NIOS) and offer open schooling up to VIII Std. for the children coming under academic group.
Therapy Department
A team of qualified physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech & audiologist and psychologist provide assessment, therapy, referral services and designed assistive devices. Therapy is a regular component of daily curriculum of students.
Vocational Training Center
The objective of preparing students for employment trainees undergo intensive vocational training in different trades.
Hostel for Outstation Children
Children from grassroots villages who are unable to access education can benefit through this facility, we provide residential facilities for such students.
Home Management
Children who are unable to attend regular school due to severity of their disability are given intervention programmes and parents /caregivers trained to follow them.
Advocacy and Awareness
we are working with government departments for policy making and its implementation. We conduct different kinds of awareness programme for community, parents and other stake holders to spread awareness about the rights of PWDs
