SWMH in affiliation with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) started the "Foundation Course on Education of Children with Learning Disabilities" , was founded in 1988-89 by Lt.Sh. Shreepal Chand Mehta and Lt.Smt. Nirmala Mehta which is a online distance education course for the professionals working in the field of Special as well as normal education. The course gives an introduction to learning disabilities.

SWMH has always felt the need for special educators to teach children in the remote areas of Rajasthan. In 2012 SWMH in accreditation with the RCI and NIMH Secundarabad started a two-year Diploma in Special Education (MR).
